Laboratory Medicine International (LMI) is published online by the Japanese Society of Laboratory Medicine. LMI welcomes contributions that showcase research on clinically relevant laboratory topics as well as those that provide commentary on the practice of laboratory medicine.
LMI aims to help laboratory professionals discover new adaptive solutions to patient health problems and to drive innovation in the field. Besides, LMI will expand on the scope of the cutting-edge research by focusing on translational studies of laboratory medicine. LMI also considers for publication of submissions on laboratory methods, management, best practices, and appropriate test utilization. Additionally, LMI provides a debate for discussion of policy, guidance, and regulatory issues that impact the relevant field. LMI provides six types of submissions: Original article; Review article; Case report; Short communication; Editorial; and Correspondence.
LMI uses the ScholarOne Manuscripts for manuscript submission, tracking, review, and publishing system. All articles and reviewer’s comments are to be submitted through ScholarOne (https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/lmi). Before submission of your article, you are required to have a case-sensitive account on our system. If you previously had an account with the ScholarOne system, you may already be registered in ScholarOne. Please visit ScholarOne and use it or when you want to change the password, click the “Reset Password” link. If the system is unable to find an account under your email address, please click “Create an Account” and complete all required fields for your registration.
